Things to do in Barbados

There are a bunch of things to do in Barbados. Barbados is an amazing destination for relaxation, adventure, food, and culture.

Atlantis Submarines

Atlantis Submarines is an unique underwater adventure, where you board an air conditioned submarine and go around 150ft below the ocean’s surface. You have the option to book the day dive or the night dive.

I booked the day dive. During my submarine diving experience, I saw a bunch of coral, different kinds of fish, a turtle and a shipwreck. Being so close to the shipwreck felt unreal and a little creepy.

ATV with Off Road Fury Barbados

With Off Road Fury Barbados you can rent either an ATV or a mini jeep and drive through the countryside of Barbados with an experienced guide leading the way. This experience is more than just driving, my guide also stopped at a couple of places and told us the history. Towards the end, everyone parked their vehicles, the guides gaves us water guns and we had a huge water fight.

Beaches

There are so many great beaches to go to in Barbados. From Rockley/Accra Beach, Bathsheba Beach, Carlisle Bay, Pebbles Beach, Sandy Lane Beach and Crane Beach. If going to the beach is your thing, you won’t be disappointed in Barbados.

Harbour Lights

Harbour Lights is a popular culteral event that takes place weekly, every Wednesday and Thursday. The event consists of live musicians, dancers, stilt walkers, fire performers and a BBQ dinner with unlimited drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic).

Oistins Fish Market

Ostins Food Market is a culteral market located in Oistin, Christ Church, and takes place every Friday and Saturday night. Even though it’s called Ostins Fish Market, there’s a variety of food options to choose from during this market. There are even art, jewelry, clothing, paintings, and more for sale.

St. Lawrence Gap

St. Lawrence Gap is a popular neighborhood located in Christ Church. It’s filled with restaurants (some has vegan & vegetarian options), bars, lounges, boutiques, a nightclub, and hotels. It’s also very close to Dover Beach.

St. Lawrence Gap is a great place to go in the daytime and also at night. During the daytime some of the restaurants & boutiques are open, and you can see how beautiful & colorful the area is. At night, all of the restaurants, bars, lounges, and the nightclub are open. Some places have kareoke, and live bands playing. You’ll hear music coming from everywhere at night.

Check out What to do in St. Lawrence Gap.
