Seaside Serenity at Radisson Grenada Beach Resort

Location

Radisson Grenada Beach Resort is located on Spice Island, in St. Georges, very close to the stunning Grand Anse Beach. Besides being very close to Grand Anse Beach, it’s about a 10 minute drive from Maurice Bishop International Airport and Downtown St. Georges. Grand Anse Craft & Spice Market, Grand Anse Shopping Center, and Food Fair supermarket is about a 6 minute walk. There’s also a ATM in the shopping center.

There are a variety of restaurants at the resort as well as around it. If you’re vegan like me, there’s not as much variety. But luckily for us there’s actually one vegan restaurant that’s about a 6 minute walk from the resort. Love Thyself Vegan Kitchen is a new vegan restaurant and serves a variety of vegan food, from burgers, fries, tacos, and patties. The owner/chef also makes her own sauces. I went there twice while in Grenada, and both times, the food was amazing. I had a burger, mushroom tacos, and fries.

Amentities

Entertainment

One night while I was on the phone with my boyfriend, I heard a band playing such lovely music. I tried ignoring it, but I couldn’t, I had to find out where it was coming from. So I opened my room door and across from my room was a band playing on the stage by the olympic sized pool. I found out the next morning that there is usually nightly entertainment on that stage.

Breakfast Buffet

Breakfast buffet is served from 6:30am- 10:30am daily at the Tradewinds restaurant. Choose from a variety of fruits, pastries, meats, vegetarian/vegan options, and drinks. My breakfast was free while staying there. The restaurant is huge, and you can sit wherever you want. One side of the restaurant is the beach view and the other side is the pool view.

Fitness Center

The fitness center is open 24/7 and guest have access by scanning their room key. I went to the gym everyday of my stay and was pleased with the variety of fitness equipment and machines that were there. The gym was also around the corner from my room, which was very convenient.

Pools

There are two amazing pools at the Radisson Grenada Beach Resort. One is the Sunset pool which goes down to 9ft deep. The other is the massive Oasis pool, which includes a swim up bar, waterfalls, hot tubs, and bridges.

Transportation and parking

The resort has a taxi station in front of it. If there’s noone in the taxi station (which I experienced) you can also let the front desk know that you need a taxi and they will call one for you. I only had to wait about 10 minutes for my taxi to arrive. If you decide to rent a car while in Grenada, there’s free public parking on-site.

Wifi

The wifi is free. I had to wait about an hour for my room to be ready, so I sat in the lobby, signed into the wifi, and did some work on my tablet. Throughout my stay I worked alot on my tablet in my room, and on the patio and didn’t have any problem with the wifi.
