My experience as a vegan in St. Vincent was pretty good. I did research on vegan options before going to St. Vincent, and I found a few places that had mixed veggies, rice & beans, salads, and veggie burgers. A couple of the restaurants I ended up eating at, I found while being in St. Vincent. Here’s a list of where I ate as a vegan in St. Vincent:
Ada Restaurant
Ada Restaurant is located in the Beachcombers Hotel, located in Villa, St. Vincent. With great oceanviews, this restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I stayed at the Beachcombers Hotel, so I decided to go here for breakfast and ate oatmeal (with water instead of milk) and fruits. I also made a protein shake (from protein powder I traveled with) because I knew that I wouldn’t be getting protein from the restaurant’s breakfast. I went back to Ada Restaurant for lunch and I ate sweet potatoes with salad.

BucCaneers Restaurant
Buccaneers Restaurant is located in Buccament. This is an outdoor restaurant, which is right next to Buccament Bay. I went here after a tour of the Dark View Falls. The tour guide brought us here to either get something to eat or relax by the water. By the way, this isn’t the only restaurant, there were about three but I didn’t find anything that I could eat at the other restaurants. At Buccaneers Restaurant, I decided to order the grilled vegetables, which was delicious. I was also loved the display.

French Verandah
French Verandah is located at the Mariners Hotel overlooking Villa Beach. I went for breakfast and got my regular breakfast which is oatmeal (with water instead of milk) and fruit. I also had my protein shake. But French Verandah has a variety of veggie options, which consists of vegetable roti, vegetable curry, and vegetable stir fry. They also have a vegetarian burger, you can ask for no cheese and mayo.

Mangoz Restaurant and Bar
One night for Dinner I walked to Mangoz Restaurant and Bar, which is also in Villa, St. Vincent. It was only a six minute walk from the Beachcombers Hotel. I checked their menu before being seated and was so excited to see a lentil burger. The lentil burger came with French fries, I also ordered a wild berry smoothie. It was refreshing to eat the lentil burger because I was really craving a burger.
The whole restaurant is basically outdoors. There’s a section that’s covered on top but opened on the sides, and then there’s a section close to the ocean, that’s completely outdoors, with no cover.
