Visiting The Magnificent Seven and Queen’s Park Savannah is a great way to spend a day or even just a few hours while in Port of Spain.
The Magnificent Seven is a group of seven mansions located across the street of the Queen’s Park Savannah. Your time at The Magnificent Seven mansions can be filled with history, because each mansion has it’s own history, as well as taking pictures because each mansion has it’s own unique design.
Queen’s Park Savannah is the largest open green space in Port of Spain, covering about 260 acres. It remains the center for all forms of sport including cricket, football, and hockey, a variety of concerts, fitness events, and Carnival festivities. There’s also a daily night market called “Queen’s Park Savannah Food Strip” that has local street food. Your time at Queen’s Park Savannah can be filled with relaxing and grabbing a bite to eat, visiting one of the events that takes place there, or working out. I’ve seen many people running around the park.
