8 fun things to do at Broadway at the Beach

Broadway at the Beach is one of the most popular attractions in Myrtle Beach. It’s one of the best places to stroll, eat, drink, listen to live music, shop, and relax. It also has a great nightlife. Here are 8 fun things to do at Broadway at the Beach.

Beach Rider jet boat

If you’re looking for excitement, water and some speed, purchase a ticket for the Beach Rider jet boat. The Beach Rider jet boat takes place in the Broadway lake, it goes under the bridges, and can be seen and heard from almost anywhere at Broadway at the Beach.

Choose from over 20 restaurants to eat at

There are so many restaurants to choose from. Everywhere you walk and every where you look there’s a restaurant. I advise walking around for a bit before choosing a restaurant, so at least you can have an idea of the different restaurants that are there.

While I was walking around I wanted to stop in almost every restaurant and dessert shop that I saw. Some restaurants I came across were Senior Frogs, Hardrock Cafe, Jimmy Buffet Margaritaville, Joe’s Crab Shack, and The Hangout. Some of the dessert spots were Aunty Anne’s, Cold Stone Creamery, Sweet South Popcorn Company, I Scream Candy, and Ben & Jerry’s.

Feed the fish

There are over 20,000 fish in the lake at Broadway at the Beach, and you get to feed them. You can purchase the fish food from multiple vending machines around the lake or from one of the vendors selling them. Throw a couple of pieces in the lake, and a bunch of fish will rise to the surface to eat.

Pavillion Park

There are so many amusement park rides to choose from. The amusement park consists of two different parks, which are Fun Park and Action Park. The Fun Park consists of rides like Broadway 360 Wheel, Rio Grande Train, and the Merry Go Round. The Action Park consists of rides like Wave Swinger, Riptydz Slide, and the Beast.

Shop until you drop

You won’t get bored shopping here, with more than 20 shops to choose from. Some shops that are there are Sunglass Hut, Toy Island, Palmetto Paradise, Sand & Sun, and Claire’s. Just like restaurants, everywhere you look there’s s shop.

Water walking balls

Water walking balls is another fun way to enjoy the water. While walking in the ball, you may lose your balance and fall, and it’s just all laughs. If you don’t want to go inside one of the water walking balls, its fine, its even fun to be a spectator.

Wonderworks

Wonderworks is an amusement park with over 100 interactive exhibits. The exhibits combine education and entertainment. It’s fun for both children and adults.

Ziplining

The Soar + Explore is a zipline and rope course. The zipline is 50 ft above the Broadway lake and 1000 ft long across the lake. You’ll get great views from up there, but that’s only if you keep your eyes open during the ride. The rope course is 40 ft tall, and the participants will have to navigate 33 different challenges.
