St. Lawrence Gap is a popular area located in the parish of Christ Church in Barbados. There’s plenty of things to do, from eating at different kinds of restaurants, shopping, sitting by the beach, live performances, kareoke, a nightclub, and bars.

Eat

With so many restaurants to choose from, you’re sure to find something to eat. There are also a couple restaurants with great vegan options, one of those restaurants is Cocktail Kitchen. Cocktail Kitchen has a whole vegan section that includes, tacos, burger, vegetable curry, dessert and more. I highly recommend this restaurant. I had the vegetable curry and it was delicious.

Nightlife

If you’re looking to go somewhere with a good nightlife, then St Lawrence Gap is the place to go. Thursdays- Sundays nights are the most popular days to visit, that’s when a lot of locals and tourists are there. The restaurants, and bars are open late, and the nightclub Halo is open.

There are even places that has kareoke and live performances. Walking through St. Lawrence Gap you will definitely find something to do.

Relax and sit by the ocean

If you’re looking for relaxation, you can grab something to eat or drink from a nearby restaurant and sit by the ocean. There are steps that leads into the ocean, but be careful when sitting there because sometimes (definitely at night) the tides are high and could probably take you into the ocean. But there are also benches near the water, where you can sit, eat, drink, relax and look out into the ocean.

Shop

There are a few boutiques and convenience stores to shop from. I was looking for magnets and some souvenirs for friends and family and came across a small boutique that sold a lot of cute things from cups, hats, shirts, magnets and more.
