Vegan and Vegan Friendly Restaurants to Try in Thailand

Doing research on vegan restaurants on a destination and finding out there are many, is one of the best feelings for a vegan. As a vegan, I’m also extremely grateful even if there’s only one restaurant. While planning my trip to Thailand I was very excited to see that there were a variety of vegan and vegan friendly restaurants in Thailand. I would definitely put Thailand on a list of being a vegan friendly destination.

Chiang Mai

I’m Your Vegan

I’m Your Vegan is a enjoyable and colorful junk food restaurant that sells local and international cuisines. From burger and fries to crazy shakes, I’m Your Vegan is a great choice for a casual outing to a fun birthday dinner. This restaurant offers indoor and outdoor dining.

Pai

Ganita Cafe Pai

Ganita Cafe Pai is a vegetarian restaurant and bakery with a variety of vegan options. The vegan pancakes are one of the best I’ve tasted so far. The restaurant has a calm and relaxing vibe. When I went, it was busy, where every table was booked, and it was still calm. There were customers eating, as well as some customers working on their laptops with a drink. I remember leaving the restaurant thinking, I would love to be able to come here every other day and work while eating pancakes.

Phuket

Soul I Vegan Cafe & Restaurant Phuket

Soul I Vegan Cafe & Restaurant PhukeSoul I Vegan Cafe & Restaurant Phuket is a laid-back, open air beach side cafe and restaurant located across the street from the beautiful Karon Beach. This cafe and restaurant offers a variety of options for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert. Such as smoothies, pasta, pizza, soup, noodles, quesadillas, burgers, ice cream, and more. The menu is so great that it took me a while to decide what to get. I ended up ordering a couple of different things because everything looked so good. This is definitely the perfect place to go after spending the day at the beach.

The Vegan Table

The Vegan Table is a vegan restaurant located in Phuket Old Town, about a 5 min walk from the Surin Circle Clock Tower. The restaurant uses eco-friendly practices like bamboo straws and avoids plastic waste. They also offer indoor and outdoor seating. My boyfriend and I ate here on his birthday and we weren’t disappointed. The ambiance was delightful, the food was delicious, and the service was great.
